At Beijing Playhouse we have two goals for our cast and crew.  The first goal is most important:  put on an excellent show.  The second goal is that we have fun doing it!  Rinse and repeat.  在北京剧场，我们的演职人员有两个目标。首先，也是最重要的：是为观众们奉献优秀的演出。其次就是开开心心的享受整个过程！

Beijing Playhouse Actors Reading
Never acted before?  Give it a try!  We’re always looking for undiscovered talent.  Every month we do an informal unstaged reading of a popular Broadway comedy or drama.  Aspiring actors can try their hand at acting and receive pointers from Beijing Playhouse actors and directors.  Learn about auditions and volunteer crew positions for BP's upcoming season.   从来没表演过？来试一试吧。我们总是为那些没被发现的演出天才敞开着大门。每月，我们都会举行一场非正式的朗诵会，一起朗诵百老汇的经典喜剧或戏剧剧目。热心的参与者可以一试身手，而且还能得到北京剧场的演员和导演们的亲口点评。还在等什么，赶快来了解北京剧场接下来一个演出季度的演员和志愿者招募的信息吧。

Second Monday of every month at 7:30 pm at The Bookworm in Sanlitun.  All ages welcome.  Free admission.  朗诵会的时间在每个月第二个周一晚7：30，三里屯“书虫”酒吧。欢迎各年龄的人士加入。入场免费。

Fun
What do Beijing Playhouse cast and crew do when they're not at the theatre?  Well, we can't put it all on a website, but we sure do have fun both on and off stage.  Can you say “cast party?”  I knew you could.  除了演出和排练之外，北京剧场的男男女女们还会玩些什么？当然，我们不能把所有台上台下的活动全部搬到网站上，但是我们每个人都玩的很开心，享受其中。猜到了吗？那就是我们的“派对”活动。

After Rehearsal Dinners
Rehearsals are fun.  Those turn into fun dinners afterwards.  We’re good at finding local dive restaurants with mediocre food and cheap Tsingdaos.  演出排练是最好玩儿的部分。通常在排练结束后，大家会一起去聚餐。我们最擅长找一些本地餐馆，那里既有好吃便宜的菜肴，又有便宜的青岛啤酒。

KTV Parties
OK,this is China.  So,of course,we do the KTV thing.  Sometimes singing until the sun comes up.  But we’re careful to protect our stage voices! 在中国,人人都会去KTV唱卡拉OK，我们自然也不例外。情志酣处,还会唱到日上三竿。但是为了保证演出，我们对嗓子还是保护有佳的。
